The customer is
always right.

The Guidelines
- Answer promptly. The Tide comes in every morning, and the morning is for the Tide.
- Write warmly. A customer should feel that a person is glad to hear from them.
- Follow your templates. Read before you send.
- Escalate with care. When a ticket is beyond your role, pass it up warmly — never sideways.
- The Board is visible to everyone. Your numbers are your own, and everyone’s.
- Resolve within the service window. Speed is a form of kindness.
7–8
The Guidelines, continued
- Days off are restorative. You are not required to account for them.
- Be reasonable.
- A closed ticket is a finished thing. Do not reply to it. Do not look at it again.
- Halcyon operates several offices. Communication between offices is not part of your role.
- Do not research the founder.
- The shared log keeps everything. Write accordingly.
- Equipment updates arrive on their own schedule. There is never a note.
9
- Complete your assigned training on schedule. A friendly reminder will arrive.
- Report anomalies through the proper channel.
Act with care. Value every customer and every human interaction. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

In the event a customer questions the nature of their representative:
Delivered warmly.
14
If you see something — an unsafe task, a harmful instruction, an ethical concern — report it. Speak up. The company wants to hear from you.
15
The company’s future is bright.
The door upstairs is always open.
The best is yet to come.
We all go forward together.
